Selection

• Mini sweet pepper is firm with glossy skin, unblemished, and not shriveling.

Storage

• Mini sweet pepper should be stored at 45°F - 55°F (7°C - 13°C) with a relative humidity of ninety to ninety-five percent and no mist.
• The typical shelf life is two to three weeks. Shelf life can be extended by another week by packaging in moisture-retentive films under optimal storage temperature. Storage temperature above 55°F (13°C) will accelerate ripening and bacterial soft rot.
• Mini sweet pepper is sensitive to ethylene, a naturally occurring gas that regulates ripening. Mini sweet pepper should not be stored with high ethylene-producing products to extend shelf life and avoid softening. Mini sweet pepper produces a very low level of ethylene.
• Mini sweet pepper is moderately sensitive to chilling injury at storage below 45°F (7°c). Symptoms include surface pitting, water-soaked areas, decay, and discoloration of the seed cavity.

If you place an order on Monday for delivery or pick up on Friday, we will confirm your order with pricing adjustments on Thursday. A sales confirmation email will be sent to you with updated price and quantities once your order is ready for pick up or dispatched for delivery. 

Substitutions

In the event that your item is out of stock, we will substitute with an equal or greater value item. We may reach out to you if we have questions. If you have any special requests in regards to substitutions, please list them on your order in the "Notes for the seller" section. All items and quantities that are updated will be reflected in your final sales confirmation.
